Life Story work is part of the role of the child’s Social Worker. The work could be a chapter of their life now or the whole story, as it is known at the time of writing. The central point is that the process of making a record and the content of the work is a basis for talking and listening to children.
The following website has been developed Hannah Edwards and Natalie Salaman, to help adopters who are doing life story work with their adopted child. It includes a step-by-step guide on how to make a life story book and also provides you with a number of templates and examples.
